Warm Overnight Oats with Peaches

1 cup of rolled oats
1/4 cup of wheat germ
1/2 cup of apple or orange juice fresh
1/4 cup of almonds sliced
1/4 cup of currants
1/4 cup of bran straws
1 apple grated
yogurt and sliced peaches or seasonal fruit, to serve


  1. Place the oats and wheat germ in a bowl and add the juice. Add enough water so the oats are just covered. Allow to soak overnight.
  2. In the morning, place in a small saucepan and heat until just warm (or serve cold if preferred).
  3. Add the almonds, currants, bran straws and grated apple. Mix well and serve in bowls topped with the yogurt and peaches.
