"Overall I am pleased with the nonstick pans [it's new so I expected the nonstick characteristic to be flawless. . . will see after a few years of usage. the lid doesn't fit well to the pan [perhaps a design thing and not a manufacturing thing] and as the pan heats up i can hear a slight crackling noise from the lid at the connection point between the lid and the handles [like not a good fitting]"

- Are the Premier Professional tempered glass lids 2-layered? Two of my lids look greasy all around the handles, but the greasy material can't be removed from the top or underside of the lid. Since it won't come off and it doesn't smear, I'm wondering if it's between two layers of glass?
