Yi Zhang is a passionate cook, recipe developer, photographer, and author of Saveur nominated site YiReservation.com where he shares authentic Chinese cuisines with step-by-step instructions.
Born and raised in China and moved to the U.S. at age of 14, Yi has developed appreciations for both Eastern and Western cuisines and used that experience in his recipe developments and daily cooking.
In 2016, Yi successfully co-founded Ra(Mein), a gourmet ramen popup in New York City and quickly developed a loyal local following within weeks of its launch.
Currently, Yi lives and works in New York City. When he’s not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, he enjoys traveling, reading cookbooks, and spending time with his wife and two cats.
